When the sun broke through the window in their room, Rhyn groaned, pulled the blanket over her head, and turned away from the window to keep the sun off of her face. I want to sleep But the sound of soft footsteps walking across the floor made Rhyn open her eyes even though her body willed them to remain closed. She turned her head enough to look at the source of the noise. It was Saria.
Saria kept looking out of the window and then back at Rhyn, and when she realized that she was awake, she walked quickly over and sat on the edge of her bed. "You're finally awake!" Her eyes had an excited glint that instantly worried Rhyn. "I've been waiting for you to wake up."
Sitting up, the sleep still not cleared from her head, Rhyn struggled for a moment to form a coherent sentence. "What are you talking about?"
